Project Overview: Interior Design for Student Accommodation Refurbishment

This student accommodation refurbishment focused on the transformation of key amenity spaces, including the reception, social space, multiple practice rooms, a dance studio, and a gym. Working closely with the client and operations team, we developed a tailored interior design concept that met the specific needs of performing arts, dance and music students, creating dedicated areas for practice, performance, events, and to enhance their student experience.

We provided innovative space planning ideas, ensuring a functional and engaging design. A strong, consistent colour-blocking theme, bold palette, and creative material choices brought energy and identity to each space while enhancing usability and flow. Our approach paid homage to the performing arts, integrating elements that reflect the students’ passions and activities. The project also embraced sustainability, repurposing existing furniture to create adaptable and purposeful spaces.

From concept development to technical drawings, we collaborated closely with the fit-out team to bring the vision to life, with thoughtful styling ensuring a visually striking and cohesive finish.
