Where human experience meets commercial interior design

Nelson + Long is an interior design studio specialising in PBSA, BTR, co-living and HMO’s.

We combine deep sector knowledge with a genuine understanding of the people who use the spaces we create , designing environments that support resident experience, wellbeing, sustainability and the long-term success of the asset.

One of our client stories…

“Nelson and Long were retained by The University of the Arts London to undertake the interior design of the common parts in one of the University’s new student halls of residence. Provided with a brief that sought a vibrant, engaging and welcoming environment, Alicia and Jessica engaged with the client‘s key stakeholders offering not only inspiration and ideas but firm guidance as to how the spaces could work together to satisfy our needs. The result was a coordinated and well thought out design that not only fell within budget but also answered the many demands placed on it across each of the spaces. Handed a difficult brief with a demanding client, Nelson and Long achieved a highly satisfactory result that left the University extremely content and grateful for their efforts.”

Community

We design spaces that bring people together, while giving them the choice to connect, retreat and feel at home.

Colour

We use colour thoughtfully to shape atmosphere, influence emotion and give spaces a distinctive identity.

Connection

We create meaningful connections between people and place through thoughtful design, materiality and detail.

Every space has a story, what do you want yours to be?
